This Surgeon is a lovely, lovely man. So pleasant and makes you feel he really cares about your treatment. I had a total knee replacement and he did a wonderful job. I can't praise him enough and highly recommend.

I had a arthroscopic excision of right acromioclavicular joint. First two weeks, sleeping was very difficult, but improved thereafter. Seven weeks on, I have full use of the shoulder, including playing golf after 3 weeks, and swimming & gym after 6 weeks. Still suffering some pain when undertaking a small number of activities (use of mouse, preparing food, etc). I am sure this residual pain will diminish over the coming weeks. Overall, I believe the operation to be a complete success. My thanks to Mr Bailey for undertaking the operation.

I requested Mr Christopher Bailey because a friend who happens to be a GP recommended him. As this was friendly advice and not strictly professional, l made every effort to initially see him. It transpired that l saw him very soon after the referral at a private Nuffield hospital. At that time, he agreed that l required a shoulder arthroscopy to alleviate a problematical and painful shoulder joint. He then personally booked me in for the operation in 3 weeks time. He had his own diary! From that time on, l have been more than impressed with his expertise, professionalism, bedside manner and aftercare. He is truly a fine gentleman and an amazing and gifted surgeon...

Mr Bailey helped me immensely before, during and after my shoulder tendon repair operation. He understood my desire to return to playing tennis and ,along with the physio worked with me towards that goal. When I thought I had damaged the repair he saw me straight away and was able to reassure me all was still OK. 5 months post op when I still couldn't get enough movement in my arm he didn't hesitate to offer me a decompression operation which was very successful. I can't thank Mr Bailey enough for what he has done for me through this traumatic time. I'm starting to hit Tennis balls again which is down to all the hard work from him and the physios. I am an NHS patient but this didn't make any difference from what I could see.
